Artist statement by Gail Hull:

"Since my childhood, nature has been a guiding spiritual force in my life. When I first began to study tropical biology in 1987 and then to experience first-hand the stunning diversity of life in Costa Rica, I knew I had found my proper home. The colors and patterns of the flora and fauna are never-ending inspirations to my artistic path.

"Watercolor, colored pencils, and hand carved rubber blocks (used as stamps for printing) are my chosen media to express the joy I feel being in the tropics."

These mixed media prints are available only as 9" x 12" Giclée prints on heavy 100% cotton fiber watercolor paper with a subtle texture, the same kind of paper used for the originals. If you're interested in the original art, please inquire.
